KC Zoo Media

This week I’ve done a lot of research on other social media pages and platforms of places I’d like to work in the future. A big dream of mine is to work at the Kansas City Zoo as an animal caretaker. I’ve been focused a lot on their social media pages and how I could appeal to them in both a media and animal caretaker role.

The Kansas City Zoo is very active on all social media platforms. I follow them on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. They have a wide variety of posts from graphics, to animal portraits, to caretaker photos, to upcoming and past events. I, personally, like how diverse their posts are, but wish there was more consistency to their style.

On my public social media I post a lot of my work which includes lots of animals because that is what I’m passionate about. My goal is to someday get them to notice me both for my creator skills and animal care passion.
